Structure and Order

The Montessori classroom reflects order and structure. Child knows where to find the materials that he wants to work with. Every piece of equipment is in its place.

In Montessori environment the children are free to move around the classroom at will and are free to choose their own activities. They do not have to participate in a group activity or to share with others if they do not feel like it.

There is structured learning time during the day for literacy, science, language, and culture. Intellectual, physical and social skills are developed through a variety of activities throughout the session.
